Earlier this year I was fortunate enough to create a bespoke trail for the National Gallery of Scotland in Edinburgh, which seems to have gone down well. The National Gallery in London were suitably impressed and so I am now creating a "Katie" trail for the Trafalgar Square gallery. This time I have a co-author, the brilliant Caroline Marcus, who I met during the Take One Picture project at a school in Hitchin. She is a mine of fascinating information and an ideal colleague.
The trail will be launched during the February half term at the National Gallery. Here are some preliminary sketches for it - I'm excited, and I think it's going to be a lovely thing for children to explore the gallery with.
